IASIA 2026 Conference to Take Place in Athens

Diogo Pereira,

The International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) will hold its Annual Conference from 12 to 16 October 2026 in Athens, Greece, hosted by the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government (EKDDA).

Under the theme “Rethinking Governance for a Changing World,” the conference will bring together scholars, practitioners, and public administration leaders from across the globe to exchange ideas, share research, and discuss innovative approaches to governance in an increasingly complex and evolving global context.

The core conference programme will take place from Monday to Thursday, featuring academic sessions, discussions, and networking opportunities designed to foster collaboration within the international public administration community.

Following the main programme, participants will have the opportunity to join an optional programme of excursions and additional activities, offering further opportunities for professional exchange while experiencing the historical and cultural richness of Athens.

The IASIA Annual Conference remains one of the association’s flagship events, providing a global platform for dialogue on public administration education, governance innovation, and the development of public sector leadership.

More information about the programme and participation details will be shared in the coming days.
